Just Landed My First Travel + Leisure Assignments!
Plus: I'm also working on travel articles for TripSavvy and Reader's Digest
Happy Friday, friends.
Got back from the Hilton Sandestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL late last night … that was seriously the most chill press trip I’ve ever been on: lazy days on the beach, a cocktail-making class, a massage and yoga class, a 4-course dinner at a steakhouse that I won’t soon forget, a beach bonfire, and more lazy days on the beach. It actually felt like a vacation (which literally NEVER happens on press trips), and that means I’m fully rested and recharged (Ok, and a little bit sunburned … did you catch my Instagram Stories?). And that’s a good thing, because, as you’ll see below, I have a LOT of writing to do!
Speaking of: I’m THRILLED to announce that I’m now writing for Travel + Leisure and I’m positively over the moon about it! This is an actual dream come true and something that’s been on my goals list for many years now. Pinch me! Right now, I’m focused on hotel reviews, but who knows what the future holds?! (Btw, I’m only listing one assignment here to help manage my inbox, but there’s another one due in June you’ll find out about soon.)
I also have assignments from TripSavvy and Reader’s Digest on my plate, which makes me so happy … travel is my passion, so this is an assignment lineup that makes my soul sing.
Something that doesn’t make my soul sing is the medical procedure I’ll be having on Monday (which I’m pitching around to various health pubs, so you may get the chance to read about it at some point) … I’ll be offline most of the day, but hopefully back in action on Tuesday.
