Link shares from media friendlies make my day, so I'm shocked that more publicists don't share this sentiment. On the PR side, I always remember which journalists share links and am always grateful. I guess all this to say that I appreciate your follow through, even if we haven't worked together quite yet.
I realize the big brand PR teams have a lot of balls in the air, but I work with some pretty big names too and it takes 2 seconds or less to hit REPLY and type "Thank you for the inclusion. Have a great day"
Let me chime in with, I feel this. I get pitched products to feature every day. Many have nothing to do with what I write about. I'm still kind and email them back to let them know what I cover and that I would be interested in anything they have that fits.
How many articles I have published over the last 15 years that have gone "un thanked". Yet, next month they are back pitching me more products.
So, let me just say, I always appreciate any time you and I get to work together. And even when its not a fit, I appreciate that you took the time to read my pitch. :-)
Just like others have said already, it blows my mind someone can't send a quick "thank you"! I always appreciate when you feature clients and love working with you! It means the world to me that you actually take the time to send me the link so I can share with my client immediately versus waiting for an alert to come in...which for some features oddly enough can be weeks! It helps us look good to our clients too :) Have the best time in Cabo!! Can't wait to see pics!! (You need to take one with Ryan in the pool and his arm/hand out of the water lol)

Yep, exactly. I just feel like too many people forget there's a HUMAN BEING on the other end of these emails.
