Happy 2022, everyone! Boy, it feels good to usher in a new year, doesn’t it?
I’m a sucker for new beginnings and fresh starts, so January really gets me jazzed … also, it’s the BEST weather in Phoenix, so that doesn’t hurt, either.
Ever since I began this newsletter, I’ve had numerous requests to “set up a quick call to pick my brain.” While I don’t have time to do that individually for everyone, it did spark an idea: What if I could offer an “Ask Me Anything” Zoom call or Clubhouse chat that allowed me to reach a group of you at once??
And that’s why I’ve decided to launch 2 new subscription options for this newsletter:
A monthly/annual subscription that includes a bimonthly, invite-only Ask Me Anything session. Not only can you pick my brain, but you can learn tips and tricks from your fellow attendees, too!
An annual “Founding Member” subscription that includes the aforementioned bimonthly session PLUS a 1:1 chat, too (a more personalized discussion).
What can you ask me during the Ask Me Anything conversations? I mean, literally anything cuz I’m a strangely open book, BUT I’d suspect you’d want to know more about:
the outlets I write for,
the topics I cover,
affiliate marketing (this link takes you to a masterclass created for PR pros that’s getting RAVE reviews!),
pitching best practices and preferences,
industry trends, and
my toy schnauzer, Lily (duh).
Of course, my regular newsletter (what you’re reading right now) will remain FREE to all … so you’ll continue to have access to the sources/products I’m looking for on current assignments. Phew!
But, if you’d like to “pick my brain” or “buy me that proverbial cup of coffee” to help fuel my writing and help me get through the 200+ PR pitches I receive daily, please consider upgrading to a paid subscription (heck, it can be your first tax write-off of 2022!). And if you do subscribe, please drop a comment here telling me your preference for a Zoom call vs. a Clubhouse chat (I’m leaning toward Clubhouse, but I could be swayed!).

I look forward to connecting with you in 2022 … keep scrolling to see my current editorial opportunities (there may be a second newsletter later this week, as assignments roll in from Reader’s Digest and Family Handyman!), recently published pieces and more.
Have a productive start to the new year, everyone!
