I rarely send 2 newsletters in one week, but of course the moment I sent out yesterday’s, I received my first e-commerce assignment for Travel + Leisure … and since we’re coming up on a holiday, I figured I better start sourcing NOW!

But before I dive into what I need for that, I have some EXCITING news:

I recorded my first-ever podcast last week and the episode just dropped today! It’s The Pitchin’ and Sippin’ Podcast with Lexie Smith of THEPRBAR. In it, I discuss how I got my start in magazines and freelancing, pitching preferences, how to break into freelance writing, different ways publicists can become a journalist’s BFF, my Top Tier Consulting sessions, and, of course, Substack.
