Happy Tuesday to you all!
I’m experimenting with doing my newsletters on Tuesdays instead of Mondays … because it was starting to feel like I had “homework” on Sundays to get it ready for Monday morning. And, frankly, I’m trying to have fewer work obligations on the weekends this year, which is something I really struggle with. I’ve worked 7 days a week for the past decade (probably longer), and really need to find some more balance in my life. So if this one baby step helps me inch closer to that goal, yay!
And now for a little business update: I am excited to announce that I’m now a Forbes Vetted contributor, which means I’ll be doing even more product reviews/roundups. Please don’t pitch anything yet, as I’m still in the onboarding process, but wanted to give you a heads up of what’s to come!
Have a fabulous week … I’m headed out on a press trip to the San Diego Zoo next week (you’ll want to watch my Instagram for the red carpet event, featuring a celeb we all know and love!), so I’m trying to get 2 weeks’ worth of content done in one. Wish me luck and please accept my apologies if I’m not as responsive as usual!
Oh, and if anyone has tips on what to wear to an outdoor red carpet event when it’s 40-something degrees out, please let me know. How does a desert-dweller look glamorous without freezing to death? My Rent the Runway search hasn’t yielded favorable results so far…
